Upcoming Gatherings, all PST: Oct 14th 4p to 5:30p & Nov 13th 12p to 1:30p One of my passions as an End of Life Doula is supporting folks in reflecting on Death & Dying well before the actual event. Put simply, the more we embrace our end, the more we embrace our present. This is a free offering to come sit with me and our extended community (in this case virtually!), sip on your favorite warm bev, talk death & dying, grief & loss, the business of death...You - name - it! These are unprogrammed, Q&A sessions focused on providing both resources and space for you to explore your end of life questions, be them philosophical or practical. To date these sessions have been such a beautiful mix of courage, authenticity and collective insight. Each session differs based community participation, interest and need. We can work on: *End of Life Planning (ie: the paperwork, making your wishes known, the business of death) *Reflect on mortality itself *Talk about Grief and resources therein *Presence a strategy for a sustained inquiry into death & dying *Ask questions Death Doula work itself It’s all welcome and all part of the mix. So, come to simply talk, come to sort out (or update!) your Advanced Directive, come to gather resources for a loved one facing End of Life, come to wrap your head around home funerals & green burials. Wherever you are at is just right.
