why THE WEAVE?
My work as a bodyworker, breathworker and end of life guide has put me up close and personal with my fellow humans - physically, emotionally, spiritually and relationally. I have learned (and am always learning!) about how our bodies soften, brace, resist, yield and ultimately transform. These bodies are ever-changing, ever in flux. They are multidimensional and are best served with a multidimensional approach.
Am I speaking your language?
In that spirit of curiosity and multidimensionality, I have come to cherish the many "helpers” available to us to deepen and add sensory texture to our work. A well chosen helper can gently open physical, emotional and spiritual doors that would remain closed otherwise. At the top of my of helpers list is the Earth, themselves. I’ve come to focus deeply on the instinct, rhythm and reparative nature of plants. I’m never not in awe of our deep, unabiding interconnection with them. How their physiology seemingly mirrors, with such potent ease, our own.
When I began integrating plants into my work, my sessions took on a new level of dynamicism, creativity, spontaneity and vastness. It’s difficult to articulate what can happen in a plant supported session - words don’t encompass the transcendent quality that often unfolds. It’s like plugging into a source of spirit and timelessness that opens up unseen pathways for revelation and repair - for both client and practitioner.
The Amulette apothecary is an extension of a meandering 20+ years of holistic arts experimentation. I have created blends that work exclusively with aromatic medicine and blends that combine both whole plants and aromatics. I’ve crafted sprays for opening, closing and resetting the energy of a space and/or session. I’ve crafted anointing oils to stimulate, soothe and nourish energy centers. I’ve crafted balms to repair and relieve.
Perhaps the Amulette apothecary has just the “right helper” to support your work in a way that supports your people? My work supports your work. Your work supports your people. I am supported by both.

why practitioners?
Wherever you fall on the “practitioner” spectrum - plant support is a great way to ground and deepen what you already offer. You could be a movement arts teacher, a mental health counselor, a DJ, a bodyworker, an acupuncturist, an intuitive reader, a coach, an esthetician, a nurse, a birth or death doula, a breathworker, a meditation teacher….you catch my drift? I label “practitioner” as someone who works transformationally 1:1 or with groups.
Practitioners are on the front lines working to strengthen our wholeness, interconnection and capacity to be compassionate humans who love self, each other and the earth. Our work is big and small all at once.
