FRANKINCENSE RESIN + DRIED LAVENDER FLOWERS
A deeply soothing and connecting mix - when burned together Frankincense resin and Lavender flowers, emit a warm, grounding, spicy, sweet scent.
Frankincense has been used for centuries within mystical communities to both soothe, uplift and assist the spirit in inducing meditative states of consciousness.
I've added the sweet support of dried Lavender flowers for their adaptogenic qualities that support both rest and vitality of the nervous system.
The ritual of burning resins, herbs and spices is an act of invocation and release. The smoke and the scent assists you with your conscious invocations of the energies or qualities you desire in your life, your prayers for the World or another, and/or consciously letting go of that which no longer serves you. It is also an offering to the spirits and energies that are present, but unseen.

How to Burn Resins:
You will need incense charcoal or a red hot stone next to the fire will work as well. If using charcoal, ignite the charcoal with matches or lighter until it self-ignites. Use tongs to hold it up (never hold it with your fingers alone or you might get burned). Place the lit charcoal in a bowl or any incense burner. The bowl or incense burner should be filled with sand or dirt. Let the charcoal warm for a few minutes. (It turns gray around the edges when it is ready).
Add a small amount of resin on top of the charcoal. The resin will burn and soon release essential, aromatic oils through the smoke. Continue to place resins or powder on charcoal as they burn out and smoke decreases for a continuous burn.
