COPAL + MYRRH RESIN with Sweetgrass & Rosemary
A deeply cleansing, purifying and connecting mix - both Copal & Myrrh resin, when burned, emit a smoke and sweet, penetrating scent known within traditional and mystical communities to clear and balance energy both inside and out. This cleansing makes room for a more clear connection to spirit and universal energies bigger than ourselves.
I've added extra support with plant helpers - Sweetgrass & Rosemary. Sweetgrass for its assistance in creating a protective and positive space and Rosemary for its assistance in clearing grief and depression.
The ritual of burning resins, herbs and spices is an act of invocation and release. The smoke and the scent assists you with your conscious invocations of the energies or qualities you desire in your life, your prayers for the World or another, and/or consciously letting go of that which no longer serves you. It is also an offering to the spirits and energies that are present, but unseen.

How to Burn Resins:
You will need incense charcoal or a red hot stone next to the fire will work as well. If using charcoal, ignite the charcoal with matches or lighter until it self-ignites. Use tongs to hold it up (never hold it with your fingers alone or you might get burned). Place the lit charcoal in a bowl or any incense burner. The bowl or incense burner should be filled with sand or dirt. Let the charcoal warm for a few minutes. (It turns gray around the edges when it is ready).
Add a small amount of resin on top of the charcoal. The resin will burn and soon release essential, aromatic oils through the smoke. Continue to place resins or powder on charcoal as they burn out and smoke decreases for a continuous burn.
